Damage Tolerant Life Preserver (DTLP)
MD4020 - MaritimeMD4025 FR - Aviation
The MD4025 FR Aviation DTLP is primarily designed for tactical rotary wing aircrew conducting operations in hostile environments. This PFD uses a manual Halkey-Roberts inflator, and is covered with fire retardant fabrics. An optional KevlarŪ based ballistic pouch MA4050 is available to contain shrapnel in the event of a direct hit on the CO2 cylinder. US Patent Nos. 6,453,840 and 6,832,415. Canadian Patent No. 2,348,139. Compact Tactical Life PreserverMD3196 / MD3196 SO - Automatic Inflation MD3091 / MD3091 SO - Manual Inflation
The automatic version uses advanced Hydrostatic Inflation System makes the MD3196 an effective and low-maintenance solution. The manual version uses a Halkey-Roberts 6F manual inflator. Special Operations versions use a dark green inflatable cell with no reflector tape. This life vest integrates with most ballistics vests of the listed manufacturers and almost any tactical vest or plate carrier that uses the Pouch Attachment Ladder System (PALS) webbing on Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment (MOLLE) vests.
US Patent Nos. 6,832,415 and Patents Pending. Ballistic Pouch The Ballistic Pouch provides CO2 cylinder containment in the event of ballistic penetration. If unprotected, ballistic impact to the cylinder can cause fragmentation or cause the cylinder to become a hazardous projectile itself.
MSD575 The MSD575 is specially designed for over-water and waterborne special operations such as vertical insertion of teams from a helicopter (i.e. fast roping), swift-water rescue, or any other tactical operation teams that require an abrasion resistant, durable dry suit. Read what our customers have to say about using the MSD575. Constructed of a breathable laminate base fabric, with strategically reinforced leg, arm and seat patches using a lightweight, highly abrasive resistant fabric this dry suit offers the best in durable dry suit protection. Cushioned patches on the knees and elbows add additional protection and comfort during tactical maneuvers. The integral neck pad protects the adjustable neck seal and reduces chafing and discomfort often associated with tactical vests or harnesses typically worn during operations. The suit's internal suspender system provides an almost "custom fit" over the range of sizes, limiting the bulkiness associated with "one-size-fits-all" dry suits. The patented adjustable neck seal and neoprene wrist seals provide a comfortable yet fully functional fit for surface or over water operations. In the event of water entry, the adjustable neck seal can be drawn tight to prevent water entering the suit. These seals also provide increased durability compared to traditional latex seals resulting in lowered life-cycle maintenance costs. A diagonal waterproof entry zipper and horizontal waterproof relief zipper ensure easy entry and crew comfort during extended operations. US Patent No. 6,668,386 Canadian Patent No.2,381,720 |
