Do you love spending time on the water? Do you have a photo of you, your friends and family having fun on the water while wearing your life jackets? We're having a photo contest and want to see how you safely enjoy powerboating, fishing, paddling... You could have your picture featured within the Discover Boating program and receive a Mustang Survival PFD Prize Pack.
How To Enter
Entering is easy! All you need is a free Flickr photo sharing site account. Simply upload your photo between Saturday, May 15 and Sunday, July 20, 2008 and tag it with SBPC2008 and you are entered.
All entries will be viewable by searching Flickr for the Safe Boating Photo Contest 2008 tag. You'll find our sample image there.
How Are The Finalists Chosen?
A panel of judges from Mustang Survival and the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) will choose 10 finalist based on its artistry and how well it shows safe boating.
How Does Scoring Work?
On August 1st we will create a group on Flickr with the finalists photos and announce it here.
From August 1-15, leave a comment on your favorite finalist. Just think about how much you like the photo and how well you think it shows people having fun safely on the water. Please comment on only one photo. You can choose photos from friends and family.
Contest Rules
Contest is open to all amateur photographers in the United States and Canada (except residents of the province of Quebec). All photographs submitted become the property of the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and Mustang Survival and may be used for advertising and marketing purposes. Professional photographers may not submit entries. No purchase necessary.
One (1) grand prize winner will be selected and contacted by email after voting closes on August 15, 2008 to receive (1) Mustang Survival PFD Prize Pack to include two (2) x Inflatable PFD with HIT and three (3) x Kids PFDs with a MSRP of $700 and their photo will be used within the Discover Boating program. No cash substitutions will be made available to winners. All entries must be submitted to Flickr online to be eligible. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Promotion if it cannot be operated, conducted or completed as planned, for any reason.
