How can I clean my Mustang product?
All Mustang products should be hand washed in warm soapy water using a mild laundry detergent. Hang to dry in an airy environment ensuring that that they are completely dry before storing in a warm, dry place. DO NOT dry clean Mustang products as dry cleaning solvents will cause the foam lining to breakdown rapidly.
How can I clean my Mustang Survival with GORE-TEX® product?
Hand wash or sponge down in warm, soapy water and rinse with clean water. Remove heavy stains by using pre-wash stain remover. Hand wash in warm water (104° F, 40° C) using regular liquid or powdered detergents. Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
Hang to dry on a plastic coat hanger or tumble dry. Tumble dry should not be used for products with a non-removable inflator/cylinder. DO NOT dry-clean, iron, use a heater to quicken the process. Always store your Mustang GORE-TEX® product in a warm, dry place out of direct sunlight.
