Mustang Survival Part of Winning Team for US Air Force IAE Program

Mustang Survival is part of the winning team awarded the Integrated Aircrew Ensemble (IAE) contract by the United States Air Force. The multi-million dollar, multi-year program is a strategic objective of the US Air Force to outfit every aircrew duty station with a completely integrated and compatible modular aviation system, from life preservers and survival vests to immersion garments and anti-G suits, for protecting their aircrews from hazardous environments.

The winning team combines synergistic expertise in commercializing innovative technologies and designing and producing industry-leading aviation protection solutions. The underlying IAE design was developed and patented by Prime Contractor, TIAX LLC (Lexington, MA, USA) under SBIR contracts with the US Air Force. TIAX subsequently teamed with Mustang Survival and RFD Beaufort (UK) to advance the technology and win the IAE contract. Working as a key partner with TIAX and RFD Beaufort, Mustang will be engineering and producing new aviation solutions specific to the program requirements.
