Careers

At Mustang Survival we take our commitment to saving lives seriously.

In October 2010, we moved corporate headquarters into a newly renovated 48,000 square ft. facility in beautiful Burnaby, BC. Centrally located less than 30 minutes away from downtown Vancouver and minutes away from shopping at Metropolis at Metrotown, our office is within walking distance to Fraser Foreshore Park where you can take a stroll, run along the trails, or just soak in the sun and enjoy the view of the Fraser River on one of the many picnic benches.

Our modern, open concept workspace includes a laboratory, prototype shop, and 12 ft deep test pool that provides a facility to support our employees who share a strong spirit of collaboration, creativity, and innovation. Combined with a smartly designed 38,000 sq ft manufacturing facility all employees join in to celebrate our company milestones, multi-cultural events/holidays of our ethnically diverse staff with on site BBQs, luncheons, birthdays, family days, sporting and local community events.

What is it like to work at Mustang Survival?

Mustang Survival's processes and practices are flexible and dynamic and the people are friendly and the dress code is casual.

At Mustang Survival we believe that our success is driven by a motivated and knowledgeable workforce; as such we offer opportunities for continuous learning and professional development through company sponsored training and education programs.

We work hard but recognize the importance of striking a balance between work and play: informal social gatherings and company-sponsored events offer great opportunities for employees to have fun and to build relationships with each other.

We are a team that is:

Passionate
At Mustang Survival we take pride in the products that we make. We take our jobs, saving lives for a living, seriously - and it shows. Our innovative products, ranging from our children's lifejacket to our anti-gravity suit and our NASA re-entry inflatable life preserver demonstrate the innovations that are possible when employees are inspired.

Inclusive
The Mustang Survival team is a diverse group with varied and valued backgrounds and experiences. We strive to build strong relationships in order to share our knowledge with one another and challenge ourselves openly.

Inspired
Working with a product that makes a difference in people's lives is inspiring. While some of us are involved directly with the development and manufacture of the products and some of us play key support roles, all of us have had the opportunity to be test subjects for our products!
